10)Tilda Swinton in Haider Ackermann
Tilda Swinton was austere as always in pale blue Haider Ackermann, one of the actress' favorite brands. She complemented the stark silhouette with gold cuffs and her platinum hair fluffed high. She and pop star La Roux could be sisters.
9)Ariel Winter in Dolce & Gabbana
Ariel Winter was perfectly darling on the red carpet. The Modern Family star donned an age-appropriate purple cocktail dress, complete with a fun and flirty ruffled skirt. Glam Old Hollywood curls finished off the look.
Kristen Wiig's plunging neutral gown was impressively modern, but fans were too distracted by the comedienne's new chocolate locks to notice. Could Wiig be wearing a wig? Or is that a new weave? Whatever the case, her Fred Leighton vintage jewels were fabulous.
7)Stacy Keibler in Valentino
No award show would be complete with a classic Valentino-red gown! Stacy Keibler rocked the show in a figure-flattering gown complete with an adorable bow detail on the back. Her best accessory: Vintage hottie George Clooney.
6)Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace
Angelina Jolie was typically radiant in an extremely sultry satin gown by Atelier Versace. Jolie appears to be trying to undo her reputation as a chromophobe, as the dress featured a gorgeous pop of bright red at the neckline. A simple, elegant bun, bright red lips and diamond studs pulled the look together.
5)Mila Kunis in Christian Dior
Mila Kunis was probably contractually obligated to wear a Christian Dior gown, as she's currently one of the brand's spokesmodels. Thankfully, Dior suits her fine, although we prefer to see Ms. Kunis in bolder, brighter designs.
4)Jessica Alba in Gucci
Jessica Alba channeled feminine elegance at the 2012 Golden Globes. The stylish starlet was the picture of perfection in a beaded lavender gown that showed off her post-baby figure. Diamond baubles topped off this haute ensemble.
3)Emma Stone in Lanvin
Emma Stone stole the show in a surprisingly sexy burgundy Lanvin gown with an eagle-embellished belt. A fiery updo and smoky eyes were the perfect finishing touches to this haute look.
2)Charlize Theron in Christian Dior Couture
No surprise—Charlize Theron opted for Christian Dior at the 2012 Golden Globes. The Dior spokeswoman channeled the 20s in a nude gown with a high-low hem. The Young Adult actress paired the daring look with a loose side 'do, accessorized with an embellished headband.
1)Natalie Portman in Lanvin
Natalie Portman made a grand return to the red carpet in a vibrant magenta gown by Lanvin. Portman played it simple with her accessories, allowing the focus to fall on her gown's masterful draping.
